Ben Harrison joined the Trustee Board in 2024. He brings engineering management and programme management experience from automotive, off-highway and engineering services companies.
He currently works as Senior Project Delivery Lead at Advanced Propulsion Centre UK, a not-for-profit supporting the UK transition to a net zero automotive industry.
Ben was previously the Chairman of 2nd Oundle Scout Group.
He lives in Northamptonshire with his wife, two children and springer spaniel. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, walking, watching sport and attending concerts.
Jonathan Pallas joined the Trustee Board as Chair in 2024. He has extensive experience of working in manufacturing businesses in the UK and across the globe in the sectors and logistics, supply chain and packaging. Most recently he was Managing Director of a plastics recycling business start-up, supporting the creation of a more circular economy in commercial and consumer packaging.
He was previously Chair of Emmaus Lambeth for 13 years, a leading charity provider in London within the homeless sector.
Jonathan lives in West London with his partner and dog, and enjoys running, rugby, scuba diving and classic cars.
I joined Vehicles for Change as a Trustee in 2023. I am a Sustainable Finance and ESG Consultant who helps firms on their journey to become more green, sustainable and social through finance and innovative debt solutions. Some of my key client sectors include global financial institutions, aviation, real estate, charity, sovereigns and utilities. I have a background in the disability charity sector having worked at Motability as an Analyst for 2 years, before moving into ESG Fund Management and ultimately Consultancy.
I joined VfC as a Trustee in 2023. Over the last 17 years I have worked within many types of organisations in many different sectors in strategy, governance and quality. Ensuring the right things are being done, in the right way, supporting the direction, focus and vision of an organisation is a passion of mine.
In addition to this, I have 2 beautiful young boys. My youngest boy has Achondroplasia which, for him, means he struggles with, and will struggle with accessibility.
For me, VfC is an opportunity to support an amazing charity who do great work in the community which i am really excited to get involved with.
I have been part of the Disability charity sector for the past 4 years and have been inspired by the mission of VfC in serving the community. I seek to assist the charity in its quest to provide people with disabilities, solutions to participate in life's activities and events without a care.
With a background in Financial services, Marketing and Governance; I have worked with large Corporations across geographies and currently help companies in their journey to become more efficient and grow.
I look forward to being part of this Board of dynamic Trustees, who are committed to making a difference.
I joined Vehicles for Change as a Trustee in 2024. I have a background in marketing having worked for businesses in various sectors which include ground transportation, fitness, and technology. In addition, I run my own chain of gyms, and I am a League Consultant for the Football Association which requires me to provide advice to leadership of football leagues.
I have a passion for sport and previously was the Chair of the Charity Football League, a social enterprise which generated income for charity through football competitions. Furthermore, I am currently part of the Commercial Advisory Board for the Middlesex Football Association.
I am excited to be part of this Board of Trustees and look forward to helping this charity in what I believe is a great cause.
I have been working in the Disability, Leisure, Dance and Movement sector for over 15 years with the last ten primarily focused on using Dance and Movement as a tool to drive positive change in the local community. I am incredibly passionate about community learning and a passionate advocate for its ability to transform lives as well as remove and challenge barriers to ensure equal understanding and access for all of the disability community. As a power wheelchair user, I want to ensure that every disabled individual has the opportunity to be who they want to be and access the same opportunities as other individuals within the community.
I am excited to join as a Trustee and use my knowledge within the Charity, Sports, Movement and Dance Sector to open more opportunities to make a difference in the community.
